The MegaRAID SAS 9286CV-8e RAID controller is a SAS2208-based low-profile PCI-Express 3.0 RAID controller that offers a 6 Gb/s transfer rate. It controls eight external SAS/SATA ports through two SFF-8088 x4 external mini SAS connectors.
The MegaRAID SAS 9286CV-8e RAID controller supports the CVFM03 module, which is an on-board 1-GB nonvolatile DDR3 1333-MT/s CacheVault flash module.
