The DCS-932 Wireless N Home Network Camera connects to your home Wi-Fi network and transmits high quality video images for surveillance even in complete darkness. Equipped with its own CPU and web server, it can be accessed remotely from anywhere via the Internet.
The camera uses Wireless N technology, which offers more speed, extended coverage and virtually no dead spots whilst still being compatible with previous network standards. Unlike a web camera, it does not need a PC to be turned on.
The DCS-932 can take snapshots and send them to a pre-set email address or FTP server whenever motion is detected, or according to a user-defined schedule.
The camera includes a software package, D-ViewCam, which allows you to view up to 32 cameras on a single computer screen at one central location. You can set up direct hard drive recording or automated e-mail alerts for unusual activities that the camera detects.
This camera has a built-in microphone and includes a 4x digital zoom for close-ups.
