The Extron 1U 6" Deep Universal Rack Shelf Kit is designed for 1U, eighth, quarter, and half-rack width devices with a depth of 6" (15.24 cm) or 3" (7.52 cm). The 1U 6" Deep Universal Rack Shelf can hold up to eight eighth-rack, four quarter-rack, and two half-rack width, 6" deep devices, and up to eight eighth-rack or four quarter-rack width 3" deep VersaTools or IP Link products. The 1U 6" Deep Rack Shelf includes three front false faceplates: one eighth rack, one quarter rack width and one half rack width. The 1U 6" Deep Universal Rack Shelf can be placed at the front or the back of the rack, and is used to integrate many Extron A/V products into a system for a cost-effective, professional looking and space-saving installation.
