- Twisted pair patch cable with RJ-45 connectors
- Connector: CAT 6A, cable: CAT 7 S/FTP
- Integrated snagless connector for latch protection
- Gold-plated pins for better conductivity and elimination of signal loss
The CAT 7 cable material for operating frequencies up to 600 MHz with total braided shielding and foil single-wire shielding (S/FTP) was developed for use in data centers, server rooms, rack mounting of network and control cabinets etc. These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification.
The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over extensive periods of time. A robust snagless strain relief design prevents damage to the connector latch during installation and removal.
This product uses CAT 7 cable material. The CAT 7 standard originally defined the GG-45 connectors, which were intended as a further development of RJ-45 but were not able to establish themselves on the market. In the meantime, the RJ-45 connector developed to easily meet the requirements of CAT 7 but has never been defined for CAT 7. Therefore, the imprint on the cable reads as follows: "CAT 6A S/FTP patch cords with 600 MHz raw cable".
