The Rollei CarDVR-71 is ideal for drivers of all sorts who want to record what is going on ahead of them on the road. Boasting a 120° wide angle shooting capability, the periphery of what can be seen is just as clear as what is directly ahead, making it as at home on the motorway as it is in single lane traffic. It is also ideal for racers who are looking to improve their cornering on track days because so much of what is going on can be recorded and viewed again later. The handy dashboard mounted camera also records audio, a feature which marks it out from many other products, and affords an integrated microphone to do this. When watching the recorded video back on the camera's color screen, the audio can be heard via its built-in speaker, so you don't need to download any video in order to be able to be able to see and hear it. The Rollei CarDVR-71 will record HD video in a loop so only the latest images and sound are held in the memory. However, an inbuilt G-sensor saves what has been recorded in the event of an accident. The camera can also be triggered by a motion sensor or used as a webcam, if wanted. Designed with car use in mind, the camera is held firmly in place by a suction cup and can be powered via your car's charger or from a USB connection, both of which will charge its battery.
